Author reports that big quantities of Meuse driftboulders dredged up near Kessenich (Belgium) have been dumped temporarily in a sand-pit near the village of Sibculo situated in the northeastern part of the Overijssel province (Netherlands). Collectors are invited to report via this periodical when finding in the Netherlands more of such 'strange' depots of driftboulders, as such unnaturally transported driftboulders are implying a serious danger to collecting scientifically. Among these Meuse driftboulders from Kessenich author found a silicified Lepidodendron sp. which is showing also the primary xylem-cylinder. Supposed is that the oval shape of this piece of stem and possibly of the primary xylem-cylinder too, has been caused by pressure (see picture)
