An early Pleistocene gravel association near Oldenzaal, the Netherlands, is described. It is composed of rock material from the German 'Mittelgebirge' and mixed with Baltic material which is similar to that of the kaoline sands of the Isle of Sylt. The Jurassic pebbles of this association are described in more detail and appear to have their origine in the 'Wiehengebirge' in Germany.
