This paper deals with the results of a quantitative count of crystalline Fennoscandinavian indicator pebbles. These pebbles primarily originate from glacigenic deposits of Saalian age and later and they are reworked by the river Rhine. The investigation concerns a dredge pit south of Bemmel in the Betuwe (N. of Nijmegen), the Netherlands.
