New records are presented from the pleistocene parts of the Netherlands, in which it was formerly scarce, as well as from adjacent Belgium and Germany. The plants grow in canals and slowly streaming brooks, in nutrient rich, neutral to calcareous water. A few records are made in seepage situation.
