Ornithopus compressus L. (Geel vogelpootje) in Noord-Limburg. Twee vindplaatsen dicht bijeen en toch onafhankelijk

In 1994 and '95, Ornithopus compressus has been recorded at two nearby localities in Northern Limburg. There are good reasons to assume that the original seeds have originated from different sources. At one locality the species reappeared next year, but in 1996 it was not recorded any more. A short examination of the Leiden Herbarium material showed that the variation in the indumentum of the pods (glabrous or rather strongly hairy) is of no taxonomic significance.
