Two new localities of Luronium natans and a new locality of Apium repens is good news from a European perspective. Potamogeton filiformis is a new indigenous species, which has been recorded from the island of Texel. Valerianella rimosa has been rediscovered. As in previous years, the number of new records of rare fern species is striking. A few marginal species have expanded (Bupleurum falcatum, Carex laevigata, Calepina irregularis, Chondrilla juncea), while others indicate interesting floristic developments in areas like the borders of the Veluwemeer (with Anchusa ochroleuca, Carex flava, Carex pulicaris, Schoenoplectus pungens, Vulpia fasciculata, Vulpia membranacea) and the National Park ‘De Biesbosch’ (with Carex strigosa, Cirsium oleraceum, Eleocharis ovata, Ribes spicatum, Veronica longifolia). Quite a lot of species have taken advantage of a more dynamic nature management, i.e. Anagallis minima, Cicendia filiformis, Corrigiola litoralis, Echinodorus ranunculoides, Eleocharis quinqueflora, Equisetum telmateia, Gentianella amarella, Huperzia selago, Isoetes lacustris, Juncus capitatus, Lobelia dortmanna, Ludwigia palustris, Lycopodiella inundata, Pilularia globulifera, Radiola linoides, Ranunculus ololeucos, Scorzonera humilis, and Sparganium natans.
