Laat Metrioptera roeselii het gras voor z’n tarsen wegmaaien?

: Metrioptera roeselii is shown to be much more common in the Netherlands than is suggested by the latest literature. The species is found almost only in high grass in roadsides. Therefore, it can effectively be found by its sound, while travelling by bike. At this moment most Dutch roadsides are mown too much to contain populations of M. roeselii.
