Het Archeon Walhalla voor Archusvlinders

The Archeon is a historical theme park situated in Alphen aan den Rijn. The changing vegetation and small-scale management of fields have made the park an interesting site for butterflies Since 1993 an inventory has been made. The most striking species were large numbers of the Wall Brown (Lasiommata megera) and specimens of the Queen of Spain Fritillary (Issoria lathonia) and the Essex Skipper (Thymelicus lineola).
