In the Netherlands there is still a small population of badgers (Meles meles) left. An important part of this population is living in the province of Friesland. The main threat for this population is that a lot of badgers are killed every year by traffic. That means, that there are less possibilities for the population to expand into areas where suitable environment conditions are still available. The plan gives recommendations how to reduce the amount of 'bottlenecks’ migrating badgers meet in the south of Friesland. Met dank aan Eatse Wesselius, Anske Smit en Jan Meijer voor de opbouwende kritiek.
