Nieuwe gegevens betreffende het voorkomen van Monacha cantiana langs de snelweg A-7 in Noord-Holland

Three additional populations of Monacha cantiana have been found along the highway A-7 in the province of North-Holland, The Netherlands. These populations together with the one discovered already several years ago (Mienis, 1992 & 1994), form a link between the classical localities of this snail in the surrounding of the Northsea-channel and the former isle of Wieringen, respectively at the southern and northern end of highway A-7.
