Two species of Discodermia sponges, found as erratica in the Eastern part of the Dutch Overijssel Province, are described. Discodermia antique Schrammen is well known from German litterature and found in the Senonian of the Hanover area. Discodermia agariciformis Bennet, however, was cited sofar exclusively from the Cenomanian and Senonian of the Anglo-Paris Basin. The specimen described below seems to be the first occurrence originating from Germany.
