Fossil mammals have been found in the Netherlands at several places, mainly the great rivers Rijn, Lek and Maas and the bottem of the North Sea (Bruine bank, Doggersbank). For all mammouthbones and tooth have been found. In this article some notes are given about mammouthbones, wich are find together with those from Coelodonta antiquitatis, Bison priscus, Equus caballus etc. There is also a list given from fossil mammals who are found at the bottem of the North Sea from Kortenbout van der Sluys, 1971 (Bruine Bank), here are bones found from three ages, a Weichselian a Villafranchian and a Holocene fauna.
