Notes on some ophiuroids from the late Cretaceous of Liège-Limburg. Part 2: Ophiomusium subcylindricum (VON HAGENOW 1840) sensu H.W. RASMUSSEN 1950. Dissociated skeletal remains of Ophiomusium subcylindricum from late Campanian (Zeven Wegen Member) and late Maastrichtian (Lanaye and Emael Members) are described. The original material of this species on which VON HAGENOW baed his description is probably lost. Detailed investigations are needed in order to determine the range of variability of this species, which is particularly characterised by its lateral arm plates. From two individual finds ossicles of the disc have been found which were not described hitherto. These will be the subject of a future paper on the variability and stratigraphical range of this species.
