In the Lower Muschelkalk near Winterswijk (The Netherlands) besides numerous footprints of reptiles, many traces are found of invertebrate and vertebrate animals. The traces are divided in those of anorganic origin and made by living organisms. Most of the traces are classified in Domichnia, Fodinichnia or Repichnia. A short introduction is given on paleo-ichnology and twentyfive examples are discussed.
