Liggende ereprijs (Veronica prostrata L.) in de Vreugderijkerwaard

Veronica prostrata is characteristic for the flora of river valleys. It has suffered a strong decline in the Netherlands. At present it survives in only two localities, the richest of which is described in detail. In this locality, near the Gelderse LJssel, it has increased in recent years. It is concluded that grazing without fertilization favours the occurrrence of V. prostrata.
