Floristische Notities 19–34

These “Floristische Notities” contain with a few exceptions acquisitions to the flora of the Netherlands from the years 1953 and 1954. Mentioned are: 19. Dryopteris filix-mas (L.) Schott monstr. polydactyla (Moore). First record for the Netherlands. 20. Polygonum convolvulus L. var. subalatum Lej. et Court. Has erroneously been recorded from several localities in the Netherlands, but has now been found as a wool alien near Tilburg. 21. Chenopodium crassifolium Hornem. An up till now overlooked native species, specimens of which were detected among herbarium material of ~ C. rubrum L. A map showing the distribution in the Netherlands is given (fig. 1). 22, 23, 25, 28, and 32. Amaranthus tamariscinus Nutt., Brassica tournefortii Gouan, Hedysarum coronarium L., Zygophyllum fabago L., and Chrysanthemum viscido-hirtum (Schott) Thell. First records of these aliens for the Netherlands. Differential characters are given between Hedysarum coronarium L. and H. spinosissimum L., and between Chrysanthemum viscido-hirtum (Schott) Thell. and C. segetum L. (fig- 4). 24. Rosa afzeliana Fr. and R. coriifolia Fr. First records for the Netherlands of these up till now overlooked native species. A key is given to distinguish these two species from R. canina L. and from R. dumetorum Thuill. 26. Descriptions of two new forms of Lotus uliginosus Schkuhr. 27. First record of Trifolium dubium Sibth. f. pseudopematum (Hegi) van Ooststr. for the Netherlands. 29. Veronica anagallis-aqualica L. X V. catenata Pennell found in the Netherlands. Distinguishing characters between the parent species are given. 30. Bidens connatus Mühlenb. var. anomalus Farwell. Naturalized in several localities, especially in the western part of the country, mainly in the neighbourhood of Leyden, (fig. 2). 31. Bidens subalternans DC. The variability of the leaf form of this wool alien is discussed (fig. 3). 33. Scirpus cernuus Vahl. Found among the specimens of S. setaceus L. in the Rijksherbarium. The plant was collected as early as 1894, probably as an alien or escaped from cultivation. Differences between the two species are listed (fig- 5). 34. A number of plants escaped from cultivation.
