Spinnen van bermen op de Veluwe (Arachnida, Araneae)

Spiders in roadside verges in the Veluwe region were collected with pitfalls. Sampling sites included vegetation with heather (Calluna vulgaris), with grey hair grass (Corynephorus canescens), nutrient-poor grassland, and young forest. In six roadside verges a total of 62 epigeic species were collected. Ten species are mentioned for the first time in this paper for the Province of Gelderland, of which the Veluwe forms the central and northern part. Several interesting species were found and are described here. It is concluded that roadside verges provide a good habitat for some specific species of the Veluwe region. However, the situation might change for the species with preference for nutrient poor conditions, due to the encroachment of grasses and trees.
