Cheiracanthium montanum L. Koch, 1877 (Araneae, Miturgidae) van het Kootwijkerzand

The spiders captured during an inventory with pitfall traps of the characteristic geomorphologic processes, plant and animal species of seven inland drift sand areas in the Netherlands in the period 2007-2008 have already been published. Among the spiders two females of Cheiracanthium montanum L. Koch, 1877 have been found. The species is new for the Dutch fauna and the specimens are described and commented upon here. An outline is given of the habitat and of the other species in the same traps on the Kootwijkerzand. Attention is paid to the period of maturity of several species.
