In 1995 a number of 1316 quarters of skm grids were investigated on the presence of 26748 nests of the House Martin (Delichon urbica). A calculation gives a minimum of 116.000 nests. It is again a decrease; in comparison with the census year 1994 a decline of 6% and 23% compared with the index year 1990.
