Vogeltellingen langs de kust in 1985 en ’86

Following earlier counts in winter 1984/85, birds, present at the coast (or nearby swimming at sea or in harbours) were counted thrice. On 26-27th October 1985, 257 km was covered, on 11-12th January 1986, 170 km and finally, on 29- 30 March 1986 100 km. The number of birds per kilometer for selected species, briefly discussed in the text are given in figure 1. All birds counted are listed in table 1.
