Vlinders in de buurt

One of the aims ofDutch Butterfly Foundation is to encourage children to take an active interest in butterflies. This is achieved by supplying schools with nature study sets, and by supporting nature projects. In Den Bosch a primary school was assisted in developing a butterfly garden which is now looked after by the children and their teachers. In Rotterdam, Dutch Butterfly Foundation has participated in a project financed by Stichting Doen, in which an urban estate has been redeveloped into a nature garden. Residents of the neighbourhood are now working enthusiastically to make it a success.
