The new sp. is described and illustrated (holotype 3 and allotype 2 [pair in tandem]: Ecuador, Napo province, Limoncocha, 28-VIII-1980). The holotype and allotype are deposited in the Florida State Collection of Arthropods, Gainesville, Florida, USA.
