Sperm translocation in tandem position is reported for 5. obtrusum HAVIOUR IN A SOLITARY MALE OF SYMPETRUM OBTRUSUM S. costiferum and S. danae and it is also tentatively assumed for ■ 5. obtrusum. The field conditions required for the detection of sperm transfer behaviour of males while alone or in tandem are discussed.
