The Herpetological Study group Limburg (HSL) still alive and kicking after 40 years All the accomplishments and activities of the Herpetological Study group Limburg of the last 40 years are summarized in this article. The HSL were involved in a myriad of conservation actions concerning herpetofauna over this time. These actions lead to the publication of many articles in a wide range of journals. RAVON and the HSL have a shared history, with the HSL being one of the co-founders of RAVON. After 40 years the HSL is still very much alive and continues to work for conservation of herpetofauna with volunteers in the province Limburg
