A remote site: the westcoast of Roteh, Indonesia

In 2011 the author visited the isle of Roteh, the southernmost Indonesian island in the Sea of Timor. Shells were collected on sandy beaches and rocky shores. About 80 species collected are listed. Remarkable was a locally restricted population of Tectarius tectumpersicum (Linnaeus, 1758).
