In this issue we review the fossil species of a number of parasitic gastropod families from the Dutch coast, including eulimid, triphorid and cerithiopsid snails. In total we describe 27 species. As these parasitic snail groups often have relative few diagnostic characters, and since the most important of those are located in the apical zone – which is usually damaged in fossil material – it is often difficult to secure correct identifications.
