A temporary review of the freshwater molluscs of the Heremastate in Joure, Friesland
Spirula , Volume 420 p. 22- 23
Surveys carried out in the ponds belonging to the Heremastate, an estate going back to the 17th century, has revealed so far only the presence of 22 aquatic mollusc species. This number differs considerably with that of the nearby private nature reserve Famberhorst, i.e. 37.
