In June, 2020 the nudibranch Doris ocelligera (Bergh, 1881) was observed for the first time in The Netherlands. Later several more specimens were found in the same place. This location was the south-eastern part of the Eastern Scheldt estuary in the province of Zeeland. The location is remote from the seaside, which suggests that the species may have been carried with molluscs imported for local commercial cultures.
