Nieuwe soorten mariene mollusken van Sint Eustatius

During the 2015 Statia Marine Expedition the marine mollusc fauna of the Caribbean island St. Eustatius was investigated. Only in 2019 a sample with micro-molluscs from a reef near Crooks Castle, collected by Mr. Niels Schrieken, was reencountered. Furthermore a sample of fine grit collected at Oranjestad beach in 2016 was donated by Mr. Ton de Winter. These samples yielded over 30 species of marine mollusc not reported before from St. Eustatius.
