Something about ‘dune snails’ and confirmation of the presence of the Wrinkled dune-snail Xeroplexa intersecta (Poiret, 1801) in Harlingen

The recent changes in the generic names of two well-known ‘dune snails’ (in Dutch ‘grass snails’) based on the results of an extended DNA survey are briefly enumerated. In addition the presence of Xeroplexa intersecta in the mainland of Friesland, especially in Harlingen, is discussed.
