During visits of the authors to Curaçao in 2019 and 2020 Stoastomops cf. walkeri H.B. Baker, 1924 was discovered on three locations on the island. This terrestrial gastropod is a new record for Curaçao. Thus far, Stoastomops walkeri was only known from the Caribbean islands Bonaire and Klein Bonaire. Bonaire is the type locality of the species.
