The author made two short trips to the northern coast of Peru to collect seashells. In 2002 she visited the provinces of Trujillo and Lambayeque, where the cold Von Humboldt Gulf Stream is dominant and where the species belong to the Peruvian-Chilean fauna province. In 2004 she visited the province of Tumbes, which is influenced by a warm Gulf Stream from the north. Tumbes is very rich in species and there the molluscs belong to the Panamanian fauna province. After a description of the collection localities a list of species is given (numbers of localities between brackets). The author wishes to contact others interested in Peruvian marine molluscs.
