A description has been given of the rocks from the 'Buntsandstein' conglomerate of the Vosges in France, which occur in the terraces of the river Maas in South-Limburg (the Netherlands). It concerns lydites, Taunusquartzites and sandstones which are mainly characterized by their roundness. These rocks have been established in all Maasterrace sediments in South-Limburg.
