First autochtonous records, in the Netherlands, are reported of Choreocolax polysiphoniae, Grateloupia doryphora, Ceramium cimbricum and Seirospora interrupta. Morphological descriptions and illustrations are given for each of them. Ceramium cimbricum is discussed in some more detail since the Dutch material seems to show a much narrower range of morphological variation than reported elsewhere.
