Additional data on the lianes of the Brokopondo District, Surinam

Floristic and ecological data on the lianes of an area of 1900 square kilometres in the Brokopondo District were published some years ago (van Donselaar 1970). At that time 80 of the 132 species could be named with certainty, 15 nearly so. Now these two figures are 91 and 8, respectively, and since no more identifications of the (sterile) material can be expected the following data may complete the review as far as possible. Some names in the Dilleniaceae are to be changed. Dotiocarpus surinamensis Lanj. appeared to be conspecific with D. paraënsis Sleumer, and the correct name of D. calinea J. F. Gmel. is D. spraguei Cheesm..
