In a wetland in Drenthe, a juvenile White-tailed Eagle was recorded on 26 January 2011, and another one on 19 October 2014. The high number of ducks and geese may have acted as a lodestone to the eagles. Prey capture was not witnessed, but waterbirds panicked when the eagle appeared.
