The availability on the internet of data on the distribution of spiders in the Netherlands is outlined. The catalogue of the spiders in the Netherlands is regularly updated on the website of the European Invertebrate Survey – Nederland (http://www.eis-nederland.nl/spinnen) at the end followed by an overview of their distributions over the provinces. Earlier issues of SPINED are now also available on the internet (http://www.eis-nederland.nl/spined). The latest updated version of the spiders of Fauna Europaea is placed on the website of the European Society of Arachnology (http://www.european-arachnology.org/reports/fauna.shtml).
