Quagga-mussels were found in the Neder-Rijn near Wageningen, 20 kilometers west of Arnhem. All specimens were collected in the littoral zone, underneath stones. At all sites they were found together with zebra mussels in a ratio of 40% Quagga - 60% zebra.
