Rubus lianos (Rosaceae) – a new blackberry species from the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium

In this paper we describe a new blackberry species belonging to the series Mucronati (Focke) H. E. Weber: Rubus lianos A. Beek, Berkhout, Haveman & De Ronde. It resembles the Silesian variety R. koehleri subsp. polyoplon var. rhapidorhachis Kinscher ex Sudre (1911: 189), which is lectotypified here. Added is a short discussion concerning the distribution area of the new species.
