Carex × ploegii Jac. Koopman (Carex otrubae × C. paniculata, Cyperaceae) aangetroffen in de Doezumermieden (Groningen)

Carex ×ploegii [Carex otrubae × Carex paniculata] was found in the Doezumermieden in the western part of the Province of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2021. This is the first location in the Netherlands outside of the Province of Friesland where this hybrid was found. Hitherto, it was only known from a few locations along the Frisian IJsselmeer coast.
