The distribution of the Quaggamussel in Dutch national waters

An overview is given of the population structure and distribution of the Quaggamussel Dreissena rostriformis bugensis in several waters of the Netherlands. Although recently introduced, this species becomes a common element in the large freshwater bodies of the Netherlands.
