The day after Christmas 2009: Barnea parva in peat and wood on the beach of Terschelling.
Spirula , Volume 373 p. 47- 49
Around Christmas 2009 Barnea parva was found in three lumps of peat and in a piece of wood on the island of Terschelling. Several similar finds from the Friesian isles in recent times have been published. This until recently rare species seems to have settled in the peat banks in front of the Frisian islands.
