Until recently only very few species of terrestrial snails and slugs were known from the Jollemabosje, a tiny woodlet on the eastern part of Terschelling, the Netherlands. Only seven species had been collected so far during yearly visits in the autumn’s of 1999-2009 and of most of them only few specimens had been found. In the autumn of 2010 and the spring of 2011 the wet carton-method was used in order to survey once again the gastropod fauna of that woodlet. To our surprise respectively 272 and 53 gastropods were collected belonging to 16 different species (Table 1). In the autumn of 2011 we will have another look in the Jollemabosje for still missing micro-species.
