Cochlicella barbara (Gastropoda Pulmonata), a mediterranean land snail, found alive in The Hague

Two live juvenile specimens of the Mediterranean land snail Cochlicella barbara (L.) were found on peaches (traced to ‘southern France’) in a greengrocer’s shop in The Hague in July 2011 – this is a new record (northernmost locality) of the species in The Netherlands.
