The first population of the land slug Testacella haliotidea Draparnaud 1801 in the Netherlands

Between 28 September 2010 and 15 July 2011 nineteen juvenile and adult specimens of the slug Testacella haliotidea were encountered in the backyard of the author in Nieuw en Sint-Joosland (municipality of Middelburg, province of Zeeland, the Netherlands). This is considered proof of the first established and reproducing population of this slug in the Netherlands.
