The Spanish slug Lehmannia valentiana (Férussac, 1823) was known to occur at least during the period 2003-2008 on the old graveyard behind the lighthouse “Brandaris” in the West of the island Terschelling, Friesland, the Netherlands. Since then it probably disappeared because its hideout was destructed during renovations carried out at that graveyard. However, in the autumn of 2011 a single juvenile specimen was found under a piece of rotten wood on the eastern slope of “Seinpaalduin” in West-Terschelling. This find shows that this exotic species is still present on this Wadden island and it constitutes also one of the few records in a more or less natural habitat.
