The distribution of Rangia cuneata (Sowerby, 1831) in the Netherlands is given. This exotic species was discovered for the first time in Europe (2005) in Belgium (Verween et. al., 2006). In the Netherlands this species is nowadays common in the brackish water of the Noordzeekanaal (province of North-Holland) and the Kanaal Terneuzen -Gent (province of Zeeland).
