Escargot met uitjes? De glimworm Lampyris noctiluca (Linnaeus, 1767) (Coleoptera, Lampyridae) als gulzige slakkendoder

In June and August 2011 a few glowworm larvae Lampyrus noctiluca were found in a wet poplar forest in the Scheeken in the south of the Netherlands. The larvae were kept with a wet piece of paper in plastic tubes or a glass jar. Different species of snails were added to each glowworm. The attacks of glowworms on snails are described. The observations are compared with descriptions in the literature.
