A second report about the mollusc fauna of the coastal gun battery near Durgerdam

In the autumn of2012 a second survey of the mollusc fauna of the coastal gun battery near Durgerdam, province of North-Holland, the Netherlands was carried out. This resulted in the discovery of ten additional species not found before on the so-called Lighthouse Island. This brings the number of molluscs living on this former military installation to 38: 28 terrestrial and 10 aquatic molluscs
