In October 2005 and September 20I0 the author obtained large specimens of the Arctic roughmya Panomya norvegica (Spengler, 1793) from crew of trawlers. These trawlers had been fishing on Doggersbank and Klaverbank, respec tively. Both sites are located on the Dutch part of the Continental Shelf from where Arctic roughmya is rarely reported.
